I've just snaked a session proposal under the deadline on Drupal training for Drupalcon in DC. I just read that the proposal deadline was closing tonight, and a quick survey of the proposals didn't turn up anything in the training vein, I decided to put in my bid. I mean, what would Drupalcon be without it's one token session on training for Drupal users, right?

The session I was most excited to see at this conference happened to be on the very first day, "Training: Boosting our raw capacity to provide Drupal training". It turns out, as OpenSourcery Training and Quality Assurance, I was drawn to pow wow with the presenters after we ran over time.

DrupalCons are great for learning new things and the conference in San Francisco this April will be no different. What will be different is that this year there are formalized training sessions happening the day before the conference really starts.

Tomorrow I get on a plane to fly to New Orleans to enjoy a few days before the Do It With Drupal seminar, where I'll be speaking about Views and hoping not to embarass myself too much. And try to figure out how I'm going to get all the work done that I have to do before the end of the year. Still, I've never been to New Orleans, so it should be fun.
